Getting cold...season for scarves, gloves and...
It has gotten so cold specially during this past couple of days in Tokyo.
We see many many people are now really starting to wear gloves and knit-caps to avoid the chilly wind. The winter sales have been going on everywhere in retails stores in Tokyo right now, so maybe I should go get some warm pair of gloves myself before the sale ends !

THE GINDACO
Harajuku is a town for desert crepe with bananas, chocolate and cream.
Osaka is a town for Takoyaki. Made from flour, eggs, ginger, and various other ingredients, Takoyaki is panfried (in special pan with small “spheres”) round vegetable ball(s) with diced octopus at the center, served with vegetable sauce.

I visited, “Assist On (http://www.assiston.co.jp/)” one of my favorite shops in Omotesando/ Harajuku area the other day. The store carries many of the latest products awarded for the design, . "Tento" exhibition at Roppongi Hills
Today, I went to see a movie with my friend in Roppongi Hills, Roppongi.
There was an exhibition, “Tento by MERRY -Show your Peace-” in multi-space, “umu” TV-Asahi in Roppongi Hills.
The exhibition was conducted by the artist unit of two Japanese women, “MERRY”. Their works are the textile design, paintings, shaping of “tents”, and T-shirt design.

Kimono shop
Today, I found a Kimono shop (http://ichinokura.info/ichinokura.html) one block down to Takeshita street, which is most popular fashion area for teengirls in Tokyo.
The store has not only the usual, traditional patterns of kimono but also of modern, contemporary taste, targeting for such younger generation teenagers.

Hatsumode is one of the widely practiced customs in Japan. It is the first visit you make to the Buddhist temple or Shinto shrine after the year turns, and people usually make the visit during the new year holiday between January 1st to 3rd of the year.
